“Our Norwegian investors have saved our business and more than 700 Lithuanian employees, and if we had to wait for help from the state, I don’t know how we would have survived,” says Vigintas Bartaševičius, CEO of a Norwegian company Reitan Convenience Lithuania that owns such brands as Narvesen, Lietuvos Spauda, and the cafe chain Caffeine in Lithuania. According to him, during the first quarantine, the turnover of companies fell by 80%, and during the second – by about 50%. Delfi talked to the company’s CEO about the consequences of the pandemic, the decreased turnover, the state support received and the planned further development.
